Boys Varsity Track Finishes 3rd at Chelsea Relays

First of all, THANKS to all volunteers, parents, fans, coaches, etc. who made this year a rousing success. We put on an efficient, fun meet....and it did help that the weather was beautiful.
We finished third as a team and had some very good performances. Our placings were led by the distance squad, who finished 1st in all three of their relays. The DMR and 4x800 teams each set meet records, and the 4x800 time is the fastest in Division 2 so far this year. In the 4x3200 relay, we completed a "perfect" sweep of places, finishing 1-4 in the field of 32 men.
The Kruse Relay guys earned runner-up medals, while several individuals had outstanding performances. See attached for splits, individual results, etc.
We head out tomorrow for a double -dual meet with Dexter and Lincoln. There will be no easy dates this season, as the league has incredible parity. We need to be at our best if we are to win ANY of the meets from here on in.
